Talk To The Shadows

This piece got started when I heard a song on someone else's radio 'The louder the silence, and I talk to the shadows, hoping you might be listening'. Things that had been happening were eating at me, and I felt like that was the reality of so many situations: Once someone or something disappears you start talking to shadows to bridge the gap between the past and the present. So I did, I talked to the shadows through paint [this is a watercolour, as you can probably tell], because the only thing I wanted was to know how to deal with things as the world fell apart around me, and how to get the things I'd lost to come back.
